Greetings Blacks In Government Chapter Members:
In accordance with the Bylaws of CDC/ATSDR Chapter of BIG, Article VII, we have several Chapter officer positions that are vacant/open. The Elections Committee will be conducting chapter elections Thursday, November 14, 2024 during the chapter meeting. All forms must be turned in no later than the close of business, Friday October25, 2024. The forms may be sent via email to ybj2@cdc.gov.
Just as a reminder, our guiding documents state that the chapter elections “will be conducted at the November 14, 2024 chapter meeting.”
Additional nominations can be made from the floor at the beginning of the general membership meeting. Please see the attachments for further directions.
We will not extend the voting period beyond the scheduled meeting time of 12:30pm. Therefore, once the slate has been closed and certified at/during the beginning of the meeting, the election ballot will be sent to all voting eligible members (approximately 11:30 am) and the voting period will close at 12:30 pm Thursday, November 14, 2024.
